As the country gets ready for the straight man’s Oscars, the celebrities are hitting the celebrations and gifting suites in Glendale, Arizona. The Victoria’s Secret Super Bowl Celebration at Taste Ultra Lounge taking center stage as the premiere event, while John Travolta and Marshall Faulk co-hosted the Super Bowl XLII ‘Saturday Night Spectacular.’ Paula Abdul spent the weekend wandering from gift suite to gift suite.

I gotta say, Lindsay Lohan was working it at the “Cloverfield” movie premiere event last night in Hollywood. She opted to pose for photos without stopping to ask questions on the red carpet, but I’ve to state, girlfriend certainly was giving serious tiger-eye. Tyra would be proud.

The horror-action flick has been shrouded in mystery with producers (including “Lost” executive producer J.J. Abrams) and the cast of the film keeping a tight lid on details as to the film’s premise until its release. Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt showed up, and except for us noting that briefly, I’m sure no one really cared. Their reality TV arch nemesis, Lauren Conrad, was also there and “Laguna Beach” alum Kristen Cavallari also turned up. Aww, and my imaginary boyfriend, John Krasinski, was there with all the younguns and I better not find out later he was chasing some tween tail, or I will be very disappointed to find out he takes our fake relationship so lightly.

Both nose-job Ashley’s were there–well, Ashley Tisdale and Ashlee Simpson–and Ms. Simpson was nice enough to dye her hair red, so that I did not lose her in the sea of button noses and blonde hair.

Partying in Hollywood can be stressful, as Drew Barrymore and Justin Long recently experienced. According to In Touch Weekly, the two were recently out and about at Bar Lubitsch in West Hollywood when a fight broke out between a club-goer with a digital camera and the a bar employee staff, after Drew claimed invasion of privacy. But in all fairness to the shutterbug, maybe it was just the stodgy old computer trying to demonstrate to Justin how easily pictures can be uploaded on Windows.

And, the Hollywood hot spot Goa is still enjoying popularity amongst young Hollywood with a lot of the regulars making an appearance–Paris and Nicky Hilton, some chicks from “The Hills” and Jesse Metcalfe, whose preternaturally hairless chest never fails to unnerve me. Vaness Minnillo looked like she was having a girls night out, first enjoying a private celebration at One Sunset before making her way over to Goa. I am especially enjoying her friend in the cowl-neck sweater dress who teases us with near nipple exposure.
