There’s no doubt that Britney Spears is becoming the girl-next-door that we all originally fell in love with when the pop star exploded onto the music scene. She has turned over a new leaf for sure, going in a few short months from crazy psychopath to loving homebody. Spears has been making large moves, trying to show the public, her family, the courts, and herself that she can live life as a normal human being and even more than that, she has the ability to be a loving and devoted mom. Now that Britney has regained visitation rights with her two boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James. She even had her mom over at one of their current sleepovers and has been spending some girl-bonding time with her mom, Lynne Spears. And it sounds like they made quite a pretty picture. “In town since Wednesday, Lynne and Britney have been enjoying some one-on-one time together shopping at the True Religion warehouse and Pottery Barn on Friday before enjoying a “girls dinner” of salad, sushi rolls, and fish at Bond St. restaurant. One source said Britney looked great,
“Britney walked in with a huge smile and introduced her mother to the staff. She looked gorgeous, and I’ve never seen her in a better mood. She was laughing the whole time she was here. Britney seemed to have the best time hanging out with her mom and friends.”

And she seems to be stepping into the new role as Auntie quite well too. WIth the arrival of Maddie Briann, her sister Jamie Lynn Spears’ new baby girl, the whole family loves calling her “Aunt Bee” in reference to the fact that Britney used to love watching old reruns of The Andy Griffith Show in which the character, Aunt Bee, was her favorite.

Hollywood is now so deep into the baby boom industry that it’s hard to keep up with who is doing what and how with their little ones. While it’s safe to state that everybody is happy and healthy, we of course, are always looking for more than that. Here are a few of the new to have given birth and how they’re doing with parenthood.

Jessica Alba speaks out about vaccines, autism, and being a laid-back parent. You can always know that someone knows what they’re talking about when they interject “or something” into the conversation. Real specific. But we really should all take heed at what she’s saying. She has been a parent for a whole month already.

And Matthew McConaughey, who just had his baby on Monday, has already started people speaking about him. We’ve now been told that his son’s name is Levi. In the interview with US, he also gives an explanation for the name. Matt and long-time girlfriend, Camilla Alves, have also accepted a deal with OK magazine to sell the first baby pictures for 3 million dollars.

I’m not sure how much Jamie Lynn Spears got from the same magazine for the first pictures of her and tiny baby Maddie but they appear on the cover this week. She’s loving being back home and being a new mommy. But don’t be surprised if you don’t recognize Jamie Lynn. I’d be surprised if that’s even her on the cover, it’s been so airbrushed.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have also given explanations for the name of their baby daughter, Sunday Rose, also born this past Monday. After their explanation, I’m still of the thought that Sunday isn’t a good name for a child but then again, it’s not my baby. And Nicole, always showing how she’s a lady full of class has turned down many deals for the first pictures but still promise to show her to the world very soon.

And five months after J.Lo had her precious bundles, Emme and Max, she’s taking some chill time by cruising around on a luxury yacht in Italy with the babies’ daddy, Marc Anthony. People are talking about her being back in a bikini such a short time after delivering two babies and a lot of people are speaking about how it’s nice to not see celebrities that are perfect and stick thin. I don’t know, I’d trade my body for hers any day!

Jamie Lynn has already sold her baby out to cover OK! magazine. She gives a brief interview about what her delivery was like and what life is like with a new baby. I read the mini article and it made me yawn. Seriously, it was tiring. They seem really boring. I guess we expect more out of Jamie Lynn since her sister is such a fuck up but she’s honestly a bore. And she lies. Here’s what she stated about Maddie:

“She is very good,” says Jamie Lynn. “She’ll feed each two or three hours. When she wakes up in the middle of the night, I’ll feed her and she goes right back to sleep. There’s no screaming and crying.”

No screaming and crying? I don’t believe it. Jamie Lynn is trying so hard to make her teen-mom drama look like a fairy tale that she’s come up with this lie: my baby doesn’t cry! I call bullshit!

Maddie Briann entered the world with a full head of hair, her daddy’s toes and the world’s most famous aunt waiting just outside the door.

New mother Jamie Lynn Spears, daddy Casey Aldridge and baby Maddie were catching up on rest Saturday following the birth Thursday at a hospital in McComb, Miss., near the Spears family home across the state line in Kentwood, La., a source tells PEOPLE.

Jamie Lynn was discharged from the hospital overnight Friday, with the new arrival getting an early education in her family’s notoriety: their vehicle had a police escort home.

“They’re doing terrific,” the source says. “The baby’s got 10 fingers and 10 toes … and a full head of hair. She’s long, a tall baby, and she weighs 7 lbs, 11 oz.”

When the baby was born at about 9:30 a.m., Jamie Lynn’s sister, Britney Spears, and the rest of the Spears and Aldridge families were just outside the birthing room in the spacious maternity suite.

The relatives then joined the new family in the birthing room and took turns holding Maddie Briann and commenting on her features. When new grandmother Joyce Aldridge held the baby, she remarked that Maddie “has Casey’s toes,” the source states.

Jamie Lynn, 17, and Casey, 19, intend to get married soon, but no date has been announced. Jamie Lynn recently bought a home in nearby Liberty, Miss., where she and Casey have been living for about three weeks.

After months and months of blogging and tabloid reporting all the way along Jamie Lynn Spears’ pregnancy, it’s finally all over as she delivered a baby girl this morning. From Ninja Dude,

“PEOPLE confirms exclusively that the baby was named Maddie Briann. “Just the family was there,” says a source about the birth around 9:30 a.m. at a hospital in Mississippi, near her Louisiana hometown. “Everyone is healthy and happy.” Jamie Lynn’s sister Britney, father Jamie and brother Bryan flew in Wednesday to be with her for the birth; her mom Lynne had been with her helping her get ready for the baby.”

I just think - finally!!!! Not only did she finally have her baby but there’s also a celebrity who finally named their child something normal! No fruit or field workers names here, just simply Maddie Briann. Totally southern, completely sweet and I’m very happy for her! Looks like her sister, Britney got there just in time as she has recently gone to the family’s home to be with her sister. It’s a happy time for them and hopefully, people won’t want to turn it into something sour.
