Matthew McConaughey’s shirtless antics haven’t been for naught. The well-toned actor has received some esteemed recognition from a journalistic entity for his efforts. Matthew was named by In Touch Weekly as their number one pick for their list of “Hollywood’s Hottest Chests.” He was followed by David Beckham, Hugh Jackman, Jesse Metcalfe and Andy Baldwin. And I don’t really pay too much attention to those last two, but I’ve to heartily concur with the addition of Hugh and David to that list.

As for Matthew, the 38-year-old sports enthusiast states that he doesn’t necessarily go out of his way to around photographic attention when he’s walking around…doing his thing, but he’s also not going to make a massive deal to try and cover up. “My motto is, ‘If they catch it, they catch it.’”

Funny, that is my policy on STDs.

I know I should be making more fun of this guy, but he really is so damn adorable. He looked so enthralled while he was receiving his first lei in Hawaii on his first trip there recently and now, arriving in Incheon, Korea at the airport with the L.A. Galaxy, he looks like the happiest guy on the planet. I just want to pinch his stubble-covered cheeks.

David is in town with the Galaxy to engage in a friendly game with a Korean soccer team, but mostly I think it’s for these fantastic photo-ops. I have the ability to definitely see how his tiny boy Cruz got so damn adorable.

Just as promised, here are the photos of David Beckham giving the crowd some applause at the Pan Pacific Championships in Hawaii. It was David’s first trip to Honolulu and here he is, soaking up the sunshine and admiration of the fans (and us) at the Aloha Stadium there yesterday. This applause and shirtlessness came after the L.A. Galaxy’s game against Gamba Osaka and I am guessing that his well-tanned chest was David’s way of saying, “Thanks guys. Now, I’ll very graciously allow you all to feast your eyes on THIS.”

In this day’s Hollywood world, we often hear of couples getting together and making grand gestures, only to see the two split the next month. Well David and Victoria Beckham have put a stop to all of that. The two are true romantics at heart. They both have at least one tattoo somewhere on their bodies to represent the love they share and now they have renewed their wedding vows. Celebitchy states,

“David and Victoria Beckham have secretly retaken their marriage vows - and got matching tattoos to celebrate the romantic occasion. Only a handful of friends and family were invited to watch them remarry in the grounds of Beckingham Palace. One said: “We were in tears. It was beautiful and very non-showbiz.” The couple marked the big day by tattooing the ceremony date on their wrists in Roman numerals.”

Not only did the gesture itself ooze romance but the fact that it was a surprise from David to his lovely wife makes it all the more so.  He also took her on a second honeymoon to Paris. While there, David took Victoria to two stores that she thinks are “major”, Azzedine Alaia and Colette. She was then instructed by her hubby to choose whatever she wanted for a second wedding present.

It’s nice that while they’re busy being fashion icons, and having their own perfumes, and conquering the world of sports, they have the ability to still take some time out for themselves to reaffirm the love they have for each other and their family.

Well, there’s no doubt it. Celebrity’s just have a way of making us tiny people look like schmucks…especially on Valentine’s Day. David Beckham, who has been married to Victoria Beckham since 1999 is getting a tattoo for her this Valentine’s Day. The tattoo is going to be in the design of a rose and will be put on his arm. Celebitchy states,

“David will be having a rose tattooed onto his arm as a declaration of love: the idea shocked Victoria, even if it isn’t the first time the football player has made a “tribute” to his beloved spouse on his skin.”

Perhaps he’ll have a little more luck with this tattoo than he did with the other tattoo he has for his beloved wife, which is spelled incorrectly. That tattoo was done on his lower back in Hindi script and below it is Latin writing, which states,

“So that I love and cherish”

according to Celebitchy. Another tattoo that can be spotted on David reflects his fidelity and says,

“I’m my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine, that shepherds among the lilies,”

Celebitchy also reports. And his wife isn’t the only one he reserves special tattoos for. Also on his back, he has a guardian angel that’s overlooking his children’s names.

Victoria also has tattoos that are near and dear to her heart. The bottom of her spine has four stars, all with eight points. One star is for David and the other three are for her children.

So if you’re stuck for Valentine’s ideas this year, you might think about getting a tattoo…or maybe just stick with chocolate and flowers.
