This week’s wrap up is a tiny bit of everything as stars are busy hooking up, breaking up, having babies and of course, dodging rumors. Here’s what’s happening in Tinseltown this week.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have set a date for their wedding, which will now legally take place in California. It seems that they want to keep us guessing because even though they’ve announced that they set a date, exactly which date that’s has yet to be revealed. What they’ve stated is that the wedding will be bigger and superior than anything anyone’s ever seen and that there will be number of famous people there, some of whom will sing. Really? At a wedding for a couple of celebrities? Still so happy for these two though!

And Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are most happy to report that they are still together and they are still very happy. Jenn is currently spending time with her singer boyfriend in the United Kingdom while he’s on tour. There are also rumors floating around that Jenn “accidentally” proposed to John during one of their long walks on the beach (sigh) but these seem to be completely untrue. Jenn did however, introduce him to her dad.

Another happy duo in Hollywood these days is Bill Murray and his wife, Jennifer Murray. Or should I say ex-wife. The two surprised everyone with the announcement that they were divorcing just this past Might and they are no doubt thrilled at the expediency of the courts now it is final. Despite allegations Bill Murray made about his wife this past month about her being perilous around their kids, she has been granted full custody of their four kids.

Britney Spears hasn’t been allowed full custody but she is making headway on the kids front. She recently requested that her visitation rights be reviewed and she asked for more. No details have been revealed just yet but it’s thought that Britney asked for overnights with her children and she’s been given them! What might be even more impressive is that Britney appeared in court properly dressed and in a professional manner. The girl is coming back!

And one rumor that was dispelled very quickly was the story about Michelle Williams being so angry with Heath Ledger’s family that she has stopped seeing them and kept Matilda, the daughter she had with Heath, away from them. The story was so ludicrous that hardly anyone - except New York Post, who ran the story originally - even bothered to report on it. But now you know, in case you encounter it!

The freckles. Ugh. I don’t know what it is about the freckles. It’s like, I’m caught halfway in-between thinking, “Imperfections are beautiful,” and “Ew, it looks like a rash.” I’d love to have some opinions from the audience on this one. Lindsay Lohan naked. Are her boobs real? Do you really think she looks anything like Marilyn Monroe? From In Touch:

“In a nod to one of her idols, Lindsay Lohan recreated the iconic “Last Sitting” photo shoot of Marilyn Monroe with legendary photographer Bert Stern-nudity, scarves and all. “I didn’t have to put much thought into it,” Lindsay told New York Magazine. “I mean, Bert Stern? Doing a Marilyn shoot? When is that ever going to come up? It’s really an honor.” And while Lindsay has even bought an apartment that Marilyn once lived in, don’t anticipate her to follow in Marilyn’s tragic footsteps. “You know, it’s also tragic what just recently happened to someone else,” Lindsay stated about her late friend, Heath Ledger. ”

As far as lifestyle, Lindsay Lohan definitely has Marilyn Monroe down; however, the two weren’t equal in size. Lindsay’s much thinner. Marilyn on the other hand, was practically a Botticelli angel; all curves. Try eating some, Lindsay. People have so many cures for freckles out there, it’s crazy. I’ve read about lemon juice compresses, mud, etc., everything to get them off. My favorite story, I read when I was a little girl, hoping it would work. I used to have just a few, right across my nose and cheeks. I read in the story about a girl’s grandmother, who told her, running through a wheat field at dawn would do it. And getting entirely coated in dew would rinse away each freckle. Naturally, it was a story with a “Love thyself” moral. I’m still torn on Lindsay’s freckles though.

Nah, not really. I believe the exact quote contained the word “can”, not “will”. Yet, it makes good news to spin bullsh*t out of thin air. I’m not going to go either way on this. In my view, it’s up to everyone to read meaning in someone else’s words. Not to mention the words of an airhead like Lindsay Lohan, my god. She couldn’t be subtle if her life depended on it. “Lindsay Lohan, who was once linked to Heath Ledger and was spotted crying after his passing, is speaking out on the late actor’s death.

In the new issue of New York magazine, the actress, 21, poses almost naked for a recreation of “The Last Sitting,” the last series of pictures of Marilyn Monroe.

Lohan calls Monroe’s suicide “tragic,” adding, “you know, it’s also tragic what just recently happened to someone else.”

Asked if she’s referring to Ledger, Lohan replies, “They’re both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone.”

Still, the star, who’s been in rehab three times, insists she will not end up like them.

“I’m not them … I sure as hell wouldn’t let it happen to me,” she tells the magazine.

Ledger died of a prescription drug overdose last month. He was in the middle of shooting his final film, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

Jude Law, Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell have recently signed on the replace him.”

Personally, I think Lohan, if she were blaming the industry, would be exactly right. Most people won’t argue that the business itself is nothing but a Mecca for criminals and prostitutes. It’s true; over the years there have been several Hollywood suicides, and deaths related to cosmetic surgery.

Here are some more pictures of Michelle Williams is back to work on the set of “Mammoth.” A friend revealed to Us Weekly that, even though Michelle is naturally “still very heartbroken” over Heath’s death, “she’s happy to be working,” calling her role in the film, “a welcome distraction.” The young actress is keeping busy, tending to her daughter, Matilda, and will be shooting Martin Scorsese’s film, “Ashecliffe” in Boston next month alongside Mark Ruffalo and Leonardo DiCaprio.

A witness who was also in attendance at the small ceremony held for Heath in his hometown of Perth, Australia revealed that a video montage showing images of Heath with his young daughter was played, set to the song “Happy Ever After in Your Eyes” by Ben Harper. Harper wrote the song for Matilda when asked by Heath to do so.

According to the friend who chatted with Us Weekly, “She’s really keeping it together.”

The funeral of the much swooned over, Heath Ledger took place in his hometown in Australia on Saturday, where Michelle Williams attended with their daughter, Matilda. No doubt, the entire crowd was devastated at the loss of such a bright young man, and it’s a sad fact, that living hard means dying young. From People:

“Michelle Williams and her two-year-old daughter arrived in Perth, Australia, Wednesday afternoon local time for Heath Ledger’s funeral.

Williams, wearing a black dress and black sunglasses, held Matilda in her arms as they exited the plane under heavy security. Matilda clung to a stuffed rabbit as more than five police officers and airport security escorted them into an elevator.

Williams’s arrival comes one day after Ledger’s dad, Kim, mother Sally and sister Kate all returned home from the U.S.

From the airport, Williams and Matilda (who was wearing a striped dress and was covered with a blanket) headed to Heath’s mom’s house in the suburb of Applecross. Soon afterward, guests began dropping by to pay their respects. One woman delivered a bouquet of flowers and Kim Ledger’s wife, Ines, dropped off a covered casserole dish.”

It’s been said before; Heath Ledger’s death was a sad, senseless event, and his own self-abuse led up to the point. If nothing else, I think Heath’s friends, and fellow actors need to take a look around, and realize what they’re really doing to themselves.
