Okay, they really aren’t back together or anything, but the two stars from “The Hills” were both at Las Vegas nightclub LAX last night for the Paris Hilton Collection launch party. A source stated that Lauren arrived around 12:15 am and joined Brody and his friends at a table.

“They hugged once, but it looked innocent,” according to the source, and the two “didn’t sit next to each other or talk much.”

Paris, on the other hand, was busy being the life of the celebration, singing a few of her songs for everyone and lip-syncing “Gimme More” by Britney Spears. She was seen kissing an unidentified man, who apparently moved on to a different woman (wearing a leopard print dress no less) later in the evening.

I have this gut feeling that the man abandoned Paris for Lisa Rinna. I swear, that woman is always wearing a leopard print dress and she probably thinks she’s superior to Paris because her lips are more massive. I guess that’s how the stars are gauging each other’s place in the celebrity hierarchy these days.

I love subtlety. “Teen Vogue” editor-in-chief Amy Astley was at the Ralph Lauren fashion show during Fashion Week, explaining that she didn’t “fire” Lauren Conrad from her internship but she really fired Lauren Conrad from her internship. Lauren and “The Hills” co-star Whitney Port interned at “Teen Vogue” on their “reality series” but got the pink slip at the end of this season. Astley states “I just thought it was time for them to try something new. An internship is a short thing, and I just felt it was time for them to move on a little bit.”

Editor Lisa Love was a little less fake, and answered questions about whether it had something to do with LC and Whitney’s partying. “I think that is really why Teen Vogue had had their moment with them — it went into another zone.” A zone of fake ass people! Love acknowledged that the show is about as real as Heidi Montag’s boobies. “”They shoot reality and somehow it’s changed in the editing room to appeal to things, I don’t know,” she stated, acknowledging that Lauren and Whitney were great interns “in the beginning”. Before they realized that had hired two chicks who were there to be taped answering the phone once, and then would be leaving to buy shoes and go to the club. MTV isn’t the most reliable employment agency.

Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port, the two buddies from “The Hills” are filming a scene for their reality series, which their former boss at Teen Vogue has revealed that she’s never watched. The two were recently released from their internship at the magazine, with the Editor-In-Chief of the magazine Amy Astley revealing that they were only let go because she felt their internships had come to a natural end.

Well, as you can see, Lauren will probably have her job living in “reality,” at least for the time being whether or not she ever nabs a “real” job.

Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port of “The Hills” have scored new gigs. The two of them used to “work” at Teen Vogue. By work I mean be filmed at the Teen Vogue office once in a while acting like the have jobs there. Anyway, Lauren and Whitney are reported to now be “working” for NYC’s public relations firm People’s Revolution. And by “working” I mean they will be filmed on some kind of office set and the establishing shot will be of People’s Revolution’s offices. Here’s Lauren going to class at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in LA. Hopefully one of her teachers will fill her in on that headband and why it’s all sorts of tire chain wrong. Is she going up against D-Generation or something? Will she be headbutting someone?
