The divorce is final in the case of Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook. During the hearings, Brinkley had a very hard time with everything as detailed accounts of Cook’s affair with a much younger woman and the thousands of dollars he spent on Internet pornography were revealed. But with the dust settling behind her, Brinkley states that she has gotten everything out of the divorce that she wanted - and she’s not going back. Meaning, that she will not remarry. “Architect Cook confessed during the trial that he had an affair with his 18-year-old assistant and spent $3,000 a month on world wide web pornography.
Brinkley described Cook’s revelations as “embarrassing for all of us” and their divorce “bittersweet”.
She said: “It’s to me a very bittersweet moment because it really is the death of a marriage. I’m very pleased with the results this day. I was here fighting for custody.”
Along with the kids, Brinkley also got to keep their yacht, their eighteen properties in the Hamptons and several other assets. After the end of her fourth marriage, which lasted for ten years, Brinkley swears that she is done with nuptials.
