With all of the news and scandal already out about Madonna and the break-up of her marriage (which only she seems to be denying), it has now been revealed that another baseball player wants in on the action. That someone would be one Mr. Jose Canseco. He claims that during the early nineties, Madonna wanted to have his baby! From iVillage,
“She wanted to get married and have a child with me — she wanted a Cuban child,” he stated.: “We went downstairs [at her home in the Hollywood Hills] and she came over and stated, ‘What would you do if I kissed you?’ and then sat on my lap and kissed me.”
The baller stated that, when he told Madge that he was trying to work things out with his wife, and that he could lose a lot of money if they divorced, “She said, ‘I have lots of money. Don’t worry about that.”
Jose states that, ultimately, he ended the relationship with Madonna — without ever having sex with her. Keep in mind that Jose hates Madonna’s latest, Alex Rodriguez, because Alex supposedly hit on Jose’s wife once.”
Is this a pissing contest between Canseco and Rodriguez or was Madonna really after some of those
good genes and athletic physique? Who knows but this whole story is getting older and more ridiculous by the second. The only sane one in this whole entire thing seems to be Cynthia Rodriguez, Alex’s ex. She has spoken out about her impending divorce with her hubby and reminds us all that while it might be enjoyable to read and blog about, this is a real thing happening to real people. She also denies reports that she has been canoodling with Lenny Kravitz and blowing thousands of dollars on shopping sprees just so she can stick it to Alex. People reports her as saying,
“Not one word of those stories is true,” stated Rodriguez. “I never before in all my married life together ever went away without my husband or family. Not once in 13 years.”
“I didn’t spend one dollar shopping in Paris,” she continued. “I did not go to super-fancy high-priced restaurants. I did not go to any spa. I didn’t do one thing. I spent the most innocent four days with my kids’s godparents, who are as close to us as family. My husband and I were already into our problems and I didn’t know where to go, what to do. I needed to think. To clear my head.”
Rodriguez added that her family is very upset by the split. “Mine’s a close-knit family,” she stated. “Never one divorce on my side. My parents, aunts, uncles are devastated.”
How can you not feel for this women who has put up with years of scandal and has finally cracked under the pressure. Well that and the fact that her husband’s sleeping with someone else.
