Michael Jackson was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at Saturday’s NRJ Awards in France. He wasn’t present to accept the award, but sent a video to say thank you to all of his French “friends.” Michael actually looks good (relatively talking), and talks about his upcoming “Thriller” anniversary album.
Britney Spears’s latest album “Blackout” won International Album of the Year. Brit’s work won over Amy Winehouse, James Blunt, Mika, and Rihanna.
Britney was apparently too sick (in a good way!) or too busy browsing the aisles at Rite-Aid to drag Adnan to Cannes to accept the award. Perhaps she was upset NRJ didn’t ask her to perform this year — giving the rest of the world a reason to thank the French.
